Managing Consultant

Main Responsibilities

The Managing Consultant has specific responsibility for:

  • Acting as manager/mentor to two or more staff members on an assignment
  • Producing major content for proposals or client marketing activity, and directly influencing clients in a sales role
  • Taking a formal knowledge management role on an assignment within the team
  • Playing a major part in the delivery of three or more formal MRL courses recognised as part of the L & PD curriculum
  • Supporting HR in the recruitment or induction of junior staff
  • Developing/contributing to the enhancement of an MRL method

Person Specification

The Managing Consultants must have the following criteria:

Education

  • Degree qualified preferably hold an MBA / DBA
  • Membership of IMC, APM or CMI or other professional institutes or associations

Technical Skills

  • Computer literate
  • Consulting Skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Presentation Skills
  • Research Skills
  • High level of analytical thinking
