Voluntary Consultant

Main Responsibilities

The voluntary consultant will perform the following duties:

Day to day administration:

  • Correspondence (postal, e-mail and telephone)
  • Filing and archiving
  • Office support for the Executive Director
  • Managing, filing and archiving all client records
  • Assisting in the planning and organisation of company events, exhibitions and conferences
  • Overseeing the effective operation of the IT system (server, mail, etc) and manage the companies shared resources (flash drives, printers, etc.)
  • Undertaking of ad hoc duties, as requested by the Director that ensures the smooth running of the company
  • Online research, data gathering and analysis for tenders/proposals
  • Assisting the development of tenders/proposals.
  • Helping design and structure company presentations
  • Creating and maintaining company client databases
  • Assisting with other duties as appropriate i.e. ISO, IIP, etc.

Person Specification

The voluntary consultant will have the following criteria:

Education

  • Working towards a University degree
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)

Technical Skills

  • Computer literate
  • Research Skills (especially online)
  • Analytical thinking

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Organized
  • Proactive
  • Self Motivated
  • Time Management Skills
  • Accurate and Meticulous
